Avalanches

Terrible days seem to have their roots in more than circumstances.
It seems as though, when one thing goes wrong , the avalanche starts.

What can we do to stop the avalanche or better yet , to prevent it altogether ?

Here' my two cents after a glaring failure ….

  1. Don't knock the first pebble out !
We all know that's how it starts .
In other words, think before you speak or act … and when you get that feeling ( the one
we all know too well ) that this isn't going to end well, stop … stop...stop !

    1. If the pebble is already out … replace it with lightning speed , if possible.
Honestly , you're going to have to fix damage one way or another, right ?
There might just be something to that old “Mitigating damages” idea.

If the pebble has been knocked out , what can you do … after ? Of course this isn't all encompassing , but it's a simple place to start , from one avalanche starter to another.

1. Move . Stop. Desist.
Don't cause more damage. Stop digging the hole deeper.

      2. Apologize , even if you were initially right , or feel that you were right .
Being right doesn't mean that you should treat someone badly or overreact.

      3. Go to confession.
First and foremost your relationship with
The Lord is most important, right ?

The one who sat on the throne* said, “Behold, I make all things new.”
